Milton Brown (1903–1936) was an American bandleader and vocalist who co-founded Western swing by fusing hillbilly hokum, jazz, and pop music. He led the Musical Brownies and developed the genre at Crystal Springs Dance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas before dying in a car accident in 1936.
