Local Natives are an American indie rock band formed in 2003 in Orange County, California (originally as Cavil at Rest), now based in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. They gained acclaim with their 2010 debut album Gorilla Manor and achieved chart success with 2013's Hummingbird, later releasing Time Will Wait for No One (2023) and But I'll Wait For You (2024) on Loma Vista Recordings/Concord.
