Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band formed in Manchester (Leigh) around 1975-1976 by Pete Shelley and Howard Devoto, key figures in the Manchester punk scene. They founded their own label, New Hormones, before signing to United Artists Records in 1977, releasing landmark albums like 'Another Music in a Different Kitchen' and 'Time's Up'. The band reunited in 1989 and remained active into the 2020s, releasing new music including 2022's 'Sonics In The Soul'.
