Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band is a jazz ensemble led by American drummer Brian Blade (b. July 25, 1970) and pianist Jon Cowherd, formed in 1997 out of a friendship forged at Loyola University in New Orleans. The band has released multiple albums since their 1998 debut (produced by Daniel Lanois), through 2023's Kings Highway, and is noted for its distinctive instrumental lineup and trust-based ensemble chemistry.
