Bikini Kill
Bikini Kill is a feminist punk band formed in Olympia, Washington in 1990, consisting of Kathleen Hanna (vocals), Tobi Vail (drums), Billy Karren (guitar), and Kathi Wilcox (bass). They were instrumental in instigating the Riot Grrrl movement through political lyrics, zines, and live shows, releasing key albums like Pussy Whipped (1993) and Reject All American (1996) before breaking up in 1997 and reuniting for tours in 2019-2022.
