Art Bears was a British avant-rock group formed in 1978 by Chris Cutler, Fred Frith, and Dagmar Krause following the breakup of Henry Cow. Active until 1981, the band released three studio albums and toured Europe, becoming associated with the Rock in Opposition movement. Their music was released through Rē Records, the label co-founded by member Chris Cutler.
